DESCRIPTION:Tour the Hutchinson House! Join us on Saturday\, November 13\, 2021 from 10 am to 11:30 am at the Hutchinson House on Edisto Island\, SC for a walk and tour with John Girault\, Executive Director of Edisto Island Open Land Trust (the non-profit steward organization of the Hutchinson House).\n\n\nThe Hutchinson House is a rare\, intact freedman’s house on Edisto Island. Once it is opened to the public\, it will serve as a museum and community gathering place. In 2020\, EIOLT embarked on the stabilization of the house; join us in person at the house on November 13th to see that work complete! Get an inside look at the restoration and learn about EIOLT’s plans for the future of the site.\n\n\nThis event is hosted by Drayton Hall Preservation Trust and Edisto Island Open Land Trust.
