DESCRIPTION:Join the Education Outreach Committee of the EIOLT for a presentation on the “Living\nShoreline Community Assistance Program” sponsored by The Nature Conservancy and NOAA.\nSusanna Hopkins\, the Resilience Program Manager for The Nature Conservancy will bring her\nexpertise to share information about this new grant for coastal communities. \nThe Living Shorelines Community Assistance Program application is now live and available to\nSC coastal residents who qualify\, Grants provide fully permitted and professionally designed\nliving shorelines to prevent erosion and restore salt marsh on private and community\nproperties. \nLiving Shorelines protect communities from shoreline erosion from waves and storms and\nstabilize marsh edges by promoting marsh growth. They are low maintenance and be easily\nrepaired after storms.
