We look forward to our Oyster Roast every year, getting to see all of you and your families, listening to our own island band Edisto Gumbo and eating the best oysters around, thanks to Jamie Westendorff. But, we have determined that just isn’t possible this year, so we have canceled the in-person event. However, funds from this annual fundraiser are still needed to enable Edisto Island Open Land Trust to continue our efforts to preserve and protect this place we love.
This is where you can make a difference. We ask you to consider ’shelling out’ by making a donation to our virtual ’Shellabration’ campaign.
Your contribution in any amount will help more than you know. Please use the enclosed envelope and be a part of the effort to ensure we can keep Edisto . . . Edisto! In addition, knowing that there are families on Edisto who are food insecure during these difficult times, we will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Edisto Island Food Pantry.

On Saturday, October 17 at 5 PM, the campaign will end with a virtual annual meeting to update you on all our 2020 activity and we will draw live for all the great packages (you don’t have to be present to win).
