Conservation Easement

123.74 acres (36.6 acres marsh)

Funded by the Charleston County Greenbelt Program

No longer a working farm, Ashe Point is now home to acres of wooded upland and maritime forest interspersed with old agricultural fields. This high ground is trimmed with a healthy swath of saltmarsh, an important habitat for migratory and resident birds, mammals, and sea life.
