We are thrilled to announce that the annual auction fundraiser will be held entirely online this year. This year’s event has been innovatively modified as a Party on Your Porch Online Auction!
The Party on Your Porch is going to include three days of online bidding for amazing auction items, combined with fun filled virtual evenings of porch parties on Edisto, Charleston and beyond. Prizes will be awarded each night for photos posted of the best dressed porch party, the furthest porch party from Edisto and the most unique porch party. The auction will take place starting Thursday evening, June 18th and run through Saturday, June 20th. A preview of all the auction items will be available starting on June 4, and the official bidding will begin at 5pm on June 18th.
Auction items include handmade local works of art, vacation homes on Edisto, dinner and cocktail parties, vacation trips to the Abacos and St. Thomas, hunting and fishing excursions, 23 year old Pappy Van Winkel’s Bourbon, weekend stays in downtown Charleston, a night with the Blue Dogs and more. The Party on Your Porch will conclude on Saturday the 20th at 8pm with an eye popping special drawing live on Facebook! The event raises critical funds for land conservation efforts on and around Edisto and education outreach programs for children and adults.
