Preserve Property

9.95 acres (7.05 acres marsh)

Funded by the Charleston County Greenbelt Program

This property is the gateway to Edisto Island and the first thing you see after cresting the bridge over the Dawhoo River. This property was purchased off the open market to protect it from development and preserve that irreplaceable view at the base of the McKinley Washington Bridge. EIOLT is currently creating a landscape plan for the property and hopes to one day provide public access with a picnic area and view of the surrounding marshlands.
